Our Lord, Jesus Christ when he was hang on the cross he uttered seven memorable "words" (or statements), namely

The first three Words are for others:

1.   The First Word for his enemies, FATHER, FORGIVE THESE PEOPLE.
Jesus said, "FATHER, FORGIVE THESE PEOPLE..." Luke 23:34 CEV

2.   The Second, to a thief, I PROMISE THAT TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE
Jesus replied, "I PROMISE THAT TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE" Luke 23:43 CEV

3.   The Third, to his Mother and disciple. HE IS YOUR SON.
...he said to his mother, "HE IS YOUR SON."  John 19:26 GNB

The next two Words are for himself:

4.   The Fourth, for his spiritual needs, abandonment by God. ELOI, ELOI, LEMA SABACHTHANI?"
...Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?...Matthew 27:46 KJVR. Also found in Mark ...Jesus shouted, "ELOI, ELOI, LEMA SABACHTHANI?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you deserted me?" Mark 15:34 CEV – Jesus experienced HELL.

5.   The Fifth, for his physical needs, abandonment by men. I THIRST
...Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I THIRST. John 19:28 KJVR.

The last two Words are a look to the past and to the future:

6.   The Sixth: All is finished. IT IS FINISHED
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:30 KJVR

7.   The Seventh: FATHER, INTO THY HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, FATHER, INTO THY HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
